A New Day

A New Day is here and I want to encourage you in saying, if your dreams did not manifest this past year then do not lose heart. Our Papa has been working on your behalf to bring about your destiny. Each day brings you to a place of hope if you keep your focus on our Creator. His heart is for your good and every good thing comes from Him. It is easy to become detached, hopeless and discouraged if your focus is misguided. If you can keep looking towards the goal through the filter of the goodness of God then you will be able to achieve everything that is in you and more. Misguided focus becomes a deterrent instead of a motivational force of achievement. Spending time with Our Lord will give you the direction you will need in the upcoming year. There will be many distractions to prevent you from achieving your heart's desire if you allow it to be your compass. The only compass you need is in your heart. It is the direction from the Lord and He is the only one who knows where you need to be at all times, so keep your eyes, ears and heart tuned toward the throne, the seat of authority on which we stand. The way, the truth and the light is the source for the destiny in you to be fulfilled. Worship, seek, ask, converse, be thankful and you will see the heart's desire manifest into your life by His great Hand. This is the year of Light and Revelation. There will be more of His light flowing through His Bride, more light of His salvation, more light of His love being poured out to you. Now is the time to pour out your love by ministering to Him. When you shift from trying to meet your needs and decided to love with all of your heart the King of Kings, the Father and the Holy Spirit then your life will take a path that will lead you to a place that your heart has been longing for. You will learn what real love is and nothing will prevent you from giving that love to others. So go forth into the nations (your realm of influence) with His banner of love over you and you will see great signs, wonders and miracles happening right before your eyes. The old patterns of believe that are not kingdom focused need to be dealt with so the pattern of the life of Jesus can be released into your life. The year of 2012 is a year of great hope, restoration and the birth of the great awakening.

Painting

I feel the brush strokes inside me, colors wanting to burst forth in vivid feelings of truth pent up within my spirit. They want to escape from my heart onto a white canvas of reality that is beyond my touch. How do I paint love and light? I sit and ponder what was, what is and what is to come and together, swirling... past, present, future merging as one thought, one feeling, one emotion and one truth. I make a decision and pick up my brush and release truth into this reality we call the world.

Christmas List

CHRISTMAS LIST: 1. Peace on Earth (for real…I’m talking about the real peace…Prince of Peace. It is the peace that the shepherds were told about while tending their flocks, the peace in you when He is the center of your life, the peace that passes all understanding. That kind of peace isn’t created by man it only comes from the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Peace on Earth is number one on my Christmas list.

2. Joy to the World is number two on my list. Joy is hard to come by especially in this world full of hardship. Joy doesn’t come all wrapped up with a nice bow on top. It bubbles up from within you by His touch. It is also a choice to be embraced by seeing His face and not looking at the troubles or the lack in your life but by knowing deep in your heart that He came to this earth as a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes laying in a manger for everyone’s salvation. Yes, joy to the world is the joy of knowing the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

3. I want to be wise like the Wise Men that traveled great distances to bring gifts to Jesus Christ the King. They found written in the skis the birth of the Savior and they believed and then took action. It took them three years to reach Him and nothing would stop these Wise Men from bringing the Messiah the gifts for a Prophet, Priest and King. Myrrh was given to prophets as a gift because of the bitterness that prophets would sometimes speak. Frankincense was given as a gift to the priest because they used it as incense to burn as they approached the altar in worship. Gold was always brought as a gift to kings because it was a valuable, precious metal and it symbolizes wealth and royalty. I want to be like the Wise Men and honor Christ with my gifts of obedience, (like myrrh’s bitterness it is hard to let go of my own desires and ways of doing things) love and devotion (love is valuable and precious and given from the heart it is pure gold) worship (like the sweet aroma of frankincense as I live my life in worship for the Lord) So number 3 on my Christmas list has to be… becoming wise like the Wise
Men!

4. I think to hear the herald angles singing glory to the Risen King and joining in would be an incredible experience. It would beat hands down anything materialist on this earth. Can you imagine what that would sound like? Yes, that is what I want to experience, to sing with angles about how wonderful and beautiful our Lord Jesus is. Wow, two thousand years ago, the angles came to the shepherds tending their flock and told them of the birth of Emmanuel and then the angles began to sing of His great glory! Therefore, number four on my list is definitely to sing with the angles!

5. For Christmas this year I want to become the manger. It’s an odd gift but think about it like this. The manger was carved and built by the carpenter’s hand creating something from a tree to hold nourishment. It wasn’t made from silver or gold and it wasn’t displayed on a fine table for everyone to admire. This manger was found in a barn where Jesus was laid gentle down and the Messiah, the King of all Kings and the Light for this world, the Manna from Heaven is where he rested. To carry this beautiful gift in a humble way is my desire and to be craved and crafted by His hand so others can see The Light of His glorious presence in me. Number five on my Christmas list is to become “The Manger.”
